EFCC Now Investigating Verydarkman’s NGO Account – Deeone (Video)

Nigerian comedian Deeone has revealed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently investigating the NGO account of controversial critic Verydarkman (VDM). This investigation follows allegations made by VDM that his NGO account was hacked through a website, leading to a loss of N180 million. VDM had claimed he was traveling to Jos with a police officer to track down one of the hackers.

Deeone recently shared that the EFCC is looking into the activities of VDM's NGO and provided documentation to support this claim. The investigation focuses on fundraising activities conducted by Martin Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, who allegedly raised over N202 million for purported school renovation projects. However, there are concerns over a lack of transparency and accountability in how the funds were handled.

A letter requesting the investigation was presented, stating:
“REQUEST FOR THE INVESTIGATION INTO FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES BY Martin. Vincent Otse (AKA Verydarkman). I write to request an urgent investigation into the fundraising activities of Mr. Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, who raised over N202 million through Zenith Bank account 1313679008 (Martins Vincent Otse Initiative) for purported school renovation projects without transparency or accountability.”

This development adds further tension to the ongoing controversy surrounding Verydarkman’s NGO and the funds it has collected.

Deeone’s post and the accompanying letter suggest a serious inquiry into the fundraising practices, as a Nigerian citizen has submitted a petition to ensure the truth is uncovered.
