President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Hon. Emma Eneukwu from Enugu State as the new Chairman of the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri. This appointment is part of a broader selection, with 44 others also appointed to various positions across federal agencies.
The announcement was made on Friday, January 24, 2025, in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. The fresh appointments are aimed at strengthening the leadership of key federal organizations across Nigeria.
Among the notable appointees are Abdullahi Ganduje, who was named Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) under the Ministry of Aviation, and Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, who will take on the role of Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).
