Breaking! Bobrisky Narrates Ordeal in Female Cell During Arrest at Seme Border

Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, reportedly spent a night in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State, after being arrested by immigration officials at the Seme border. The arrest, which took place on Monday morning, occurred while Bobrisky was allegedly attempting to escape to the Benin Republic in an effort to evade a Senate panel of inquiry.

Bobrisky, a highly controversial figure in Nigeria's social media landscape, was detained just hours before he was scheduled to appear before a Senate inquiry over undisclosed allegations. Sources within the Immigration Service revealed that he was intercepted during a passport check at the Seme-Nigerian border, raising speculations that he had been avoiding the Senate's scrutiny.

Following his arrest, Bobrisky was transferred to the FCID in Lagos, arriving at the facility around 10 p.m. on Monday. Due to his high-profile status and for safety concerns, he was placed in a female detention cell. Unusually, at the time of his arrival, there were no female inmates present, allowing the police to accommodate him in this manner. Authorities reportedly made this decision to protect him from potential harm if he were housed in a male cell.

Speaking after his release, Bobrisky narrated the ordeal he endured during his time in detention. He recounted that upon his arrival at the FCID, the officers treated him with suspicion, given his unique lifestyle. "It was a long night for me," Bobrisky said. "I didn’t expect to be in that kind of situation, but they kept me in the female cell for my safety. There was nobody else in the cell, so I spent the night alone, reflecting on everything that happened."

Bobrisky also revealed that he was questioned extensively by the police, who were curious about his lifestyle and the Senate investigation. He described the experience as "intense," stating that some officers appeared hostile, while others were more neutral. Despite the difficult circumstances, Bobrisky expressed relief that he was not mistreated physically but admitted to feeling emotionally drained by the experience.

The arrest and detention have sparked widespread reactions across social media platforms, with many of Bobrisky's followers expressing concern for his safety. His detainment is the latest in a string of legal and social controversies that have followed the crossdresser, who remains one of Nigeria's most talked-about public figures.

Bobrisky’s attempt to flee the country has raised questions about the allegations being leveled against him and why he sought to evade the Senate panel’s inquiry. The details of the Senate investigation remain vague, but sources suggest it could be linked to financial misconduct or his controversial public persona, which has drawn both support and criticism from various sectors of society.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the public remains divided on Bobrisky’s actions and his continued defiance of traditional norms. His brief stay in detention has only intensified the public’s curiosity, and many are waiting to see how the situation will develop in the coming days.

Bobrisky, meanwhile, has vowed to continue his fight, both in court and on social media, where he has built a large following of supporters. However, it remains to be seen how his legal battles with the Nigerian authorities will impact his public image and whether further consequences will follow from his actions.
