The People's Democratic Party (PDP) continued its local government campaign flag-off tour across Enugu State on September 13, 2024, visiting Udenu, Igbo-Eze North, Igbo-Eze South, and Nsukka Local Government Areas. The campaign train, led by the State Executive Committee, was warmly welcomed by party stakeholders and candidates in each LGA. Amidst overwhelming gratitude, leaders commended Governor Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his remarkable achievements and integrity in delivering on his promises within less than two years in office. The return of aggrieved party members, particularly in Nsukka, was hailed as a testament to the governor’s leadership, with stakeholders reaffirming their unflinching support for his administration's vision of development across Enugu State.
Sequel to the campaign tour by the State Executive Committee of PDP local government Campaign flag off in Enugu State that took off on the 12th day of September, 2024, the campaign train visited the following local government yesterday 13th day of September, 2024, thus;
1. Udenu Local Government
2. Igbo-Eze North Local Government
3. Igbo-Eze South Local Government
4. Nsukka Local Government.
While at these local government areas, the state party EXCOS were recognised and the party was greatly appreciated.
Furthermore, all stakeholders and designated candidates who spoke, welcomed the party EXCOS, gave their gratitudes to His Excellency Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his numerous works and assured an unflinching support to the Governor. Moreso, they expressed their overwhelming gratitudes to His Excellency for his uncommon Integrity towards keeping his promises and uncountable achievements within just less than two years in office.
In the same vein, the Nsukka local government designated Chairman informed the party of the return of aggrieved party members who left sometime for an opposition party, but have returned solely on the integrity of His Excellency the Governor, because a promise made and fulfilled, is a prayer answered, therefore, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mba is a prayer answered to Ndi Enugu, hence, *Tomorrow is Indeed here*
In response, the state party Chairman, Dr. Martin Chukwunwike, thanked all local government areas visited for thier warm welcome and hospitality and also assured them of the party's preparedness to ensure good governance inline with Dr. Peter Mba's great Agenda.
The state party Chairman further reiterated on the on going Smart Schools, Smart primary healthcare centers and 10km roads built around the 260 wards of Enugu State which was confirmed by all, noting that the Governor is hellbent on bringing the present day government to the doorsteps of the common man in Enugu State.
He also congratulated the designated candidates and encouraged them to follow the footsteps of the governor in ensuring absolute development in their communities.
In recap, the state Chairman Dr. Sir Martin Chukwuwike handed over the party flags to the candidates and wished them well in their expected tenures.
