The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun announcing the results of the Edo State Governorship election, which took place on Saturday, across the 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The results so far reveal a highly competitive race between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), with the Labour Party (LP) trailing in most areas. Below is a breakdown of the results declared by INEC:
